Hey everyone! Suzanne here today to share with you a super quick and easy scrapbook layout featuring an ombre background that I’ve created using just one Colorations Spray! It doesn’t take a ton of supplies to create “drama” and impact on a page.
I began the layout with a piece of watecolor paper, a paintbrush, a small amount of water, and Colorations Spray in Barbie. I wanted to apply color-beginning with the lightest-in an ombre pattern. I spritzed a non-stick mat with Barbie Colorations Spray, wet a paintbrush, and simply dipped the wet brush into the spray.
I didn’t pay much attention to precision only to apply the colors in a graduated fashion; the more water I applied-the lighter the color. I made sure to blend as I go darker in color. Once I’m happy with the color, I take the wet paint brush and create splatters. I let the background dry and that’s it!!
Here are some close-ups.
