Merry Christmas everyone, it will be the big day before you know it so you better get started with your gift wrapping.  This year I decided to decorate my tree with hues of teal and aqua and accented with chocolate & gold therefore; I wanted the packages to run with that theme also. I do notice that some of my photos came out looking a deep blue, they are really a pretty shade of aqua. 

I always love to put a little bit of me when preparing a present to give someone. I decided to make my tags this year, little pieces of art to give all my loved ones. Art Anthology has some gorgeous colors to work with on my tags, from the Sorbet paints to the Coloration Sprays, you can’t go wrong. 

I kept the tags pretty simple with embellishments, but the Mud Texture Paste used with AA’s pretty stencils give the foundation of the tags some yummy texture to work with.

The chipboard pieces were embossed with gold, patina and chocolate powders and Stickles were added here and there for a bit more sparkle.

I did use Snow-Tex also on some of the tags for a pretty snowy effect. These tags are so much fun to make, really costs pennys because you can use up little scraps of Christmas papers you have from years before for layering. Hope this has inspired you to give a little of yourself this Christmas by customizing some fun tags to put on those packages for your special loved ones.
