Have Fun With A Rusty Technique by Toni

Hi everyone, Toni here inspired by our beautiful mood board this month, with yummy texture and deep bold colors. Rust is probably one of my favorite color palettes to create with and I was so excited to start working with it.

I found an egg crate in the trash and decided to alter it as an Easter project. Wonderful AA products provided easy transformation for this trash article.

The cross was made from air dry clay and then crackled with AA’s products seeping into the cracks.

With some texture powder added to my paints it gave me a nice gritty texture.

This was such a fun and unexpected transformation. I hope this has inspired you to get creative with our products. Wishing you a blessed Easter Holiday and creative days ahead.

The following Art Anthology products were used:

Velvet- Portabello, Terracotta

Stone Effect-Sandstone

Metal Effect-Gold

Sorbet-Chocolate, Mint Julep, Cayman, Black Leather Jacket
