I WAS BORN TO BE WILD MIXED MEDIA LAYOUT

Good morning everyone! I have a fun mixed media layout to share with you! When I started this layout I really did not have anything in mind… so this took me longer than I thought it would. There are lots of layers and colors on this and the timing of it all was so worth it.

To begin, I used three Sorbet Dimensional Paint Mediums (Vegas Gold, Mermaid and Flamingo) to cover a sheet of white cardstock. I started with the Vegas Gold first… Then I applied the Mermaid and then the Flamingo.

Once the paint was completely dry I used the Stencil and white paint to create some circles in the background that did not do too well. I ended up smearing the white into the background to blend the colors a bit. Then I used the Metal Effects Dimension Medium (Silver) and the Lotus Stencil to create some fun textures for the background. Once the Metal Medium was completely dry, I used the Raider Coloration Spray and Lattice Stencil to create some dimonds in the background. Then I splashed some Raider Coloration Spray all over the layout to add some more black to help break up the colors a bit.

Once I was satisfied with the background, I used a few journaling cards, chipboards, jewels, stickers and puffy stickers to embellish the center of the layout.

Products Used:

Lotus Stencil

Lattice Stencil

Sorbet Dimensional Paint: Vegas Gold, Flamingo, Mermaid

Metal Effects Dimensional Medium: Silver

Coloration Spray: Raider

BE HAPPY TOGETHER

Good morning everyone. I am back with a colorful Travel Notebook Layout I created using a stencil and Coloration Spray (Salmon) from Art Anthology. I’ve been itching to buy new papers and stickers, but before I do… I am determined to use up my stash! So far, it’s working and it feels great to save a few dollars…and use up the products I have on my shelf.

I mixed the Salmon Coloration Spray with Molding paste to create a pink shade. Then I covered the stencil using the medium. It steeped under the stencil a bit because it wasn’t think enough…but that’s OK. I just wanted to add some texture to the layout so it was fine.

I added lots of embellishments at the bottom to complete the layout. Since the photo was my main focus, I kept the design pretty simple.
