Not So Itsy Bitsy Spider by Toni

Well it’s that time of year when we all get busy with holiday decorating and at my house it usually begins with Halloween. Today I created an inexpensive home decor piece enhanced by the Art Anthology products with dollar store finds. While browsing the aisles at the dollar store I came across the following products to use in my project, canvas, rubber spiders and bugs, floral glass shards, floral moss, pipe cleaners and wood blocks. The light bulb is actually a Christmas ornament I purchased last year.  The back of the canvas was collaged with some clearance napkins I purchased last year after the Halloween season. Art Anthology Texture Mud ran through a brick stencil and smudged with Colorations-French Toast which is no longer available in our store, but a similar color you can use is Warm and Sorbet paint Black Leather Jacket and Stone Effects Concrete provided the perfect back drop for my spider. My little wooden blocks worked perfectly to add my title.  Hope you enjoyed this project, and wishing you a BOOOOOOtiful Halloween season.

The following AA products were used

Stone Effects – Concrete                                     Colorations Spray – Warm

Sorbet-Black Leather Jacket                               Mud Texture Paste
