Be Authentic by Toni

It’s that time again crafty peeps, let’s step back in time for a bit and get messy with our AA products and maybe a fun new technique to give those photos an old vintage look.

Using an old piece of packaging for my backdrop I covered it first with kraft glassine paper all wrinkled up and glued down, then Sorbet Chocolate added to the top gave it a leather appearance.

To enhance the photo, I embossed it  with UTEE 3 times !!!! Very Important , the thicker the embossing the better. Then stick it in the freezer for a bit and remove it and bend photo slightly to crack….. whaaa laaaa !

Sorbet  Kenyan Copper mixed with craft sand painted on top of my hot glue rivets, and topped with a bit of Metal Effect Silver and a bit of steampunk style. Along with assorted ephemera and raw chipboard pieces.

More paints and sand added to the title frame and key to give it that nice rusty appearance

Hope this has sparked something within that artsy mind of yours and wishing you a wonderfully creative week. Below are a list of products I used  as well as a snapguide tutorial for your pleasure. xoxo Toni
