Hope everyone is having a wonderful month, today I have a few easy tips for creating some cards. Sometimes you need to create a quick card and not sure what to do. With Art Anthology products, the ideas are endless and they mix so well with other mediums.
This month’s mood board is so vibrant and makes me smile I knew I needed to call upon it for inspiration for my cards.
The first two cards were accomplished by using some of our brand new stencils… Oh my goodness have you seen the line of stencils AA has… if not drop by the store and check it out. The first card was stenciled using Sorbet Pixie mixed with snowflake paste. The stamped image was done on watercolor paper and then watered down Colorations in Key West, Timeless and Barbie. The second card was once again using our stencils but I used a makeup sponge to apply AA’s paints in Taxi Cab, Pixie, and Cotton Candy. With the addition of my wood pieces, cheesecloth and flowers…. easy peasy.
The next card was created on watercolor paper. I stamped my image with white embossing powder and then spritzed water and applied watered down Coloration Sprays by paint brush, Timeless, Barbie, Key West. The stamped image was enhanced with snowflake paste and AA’s Cotton Candy and while still wet seed beads were added.
Hope you give AA’s products a try because I’m sure it’s time to add some more cards to your stash. Happy Crafting !!!
