Rusty ATC’s w/ Brandy

Hi there Art Anthology Fans!! Boy, this month is flying by, isn’t it??
Though my project today is tiny, what it lacks in size, it makes up for in WOW!

I’m so impressed with these new collections! They are just so easy to use.

I like to apply a base coat color and put the other two color mediums mostly on the textured areas. Let them dry between coats…but you can use your heat tool for speed. 🙂

Find this Rust Collection Texture Set ans so many more awesome products in the ART Anthology online store!!

Here is a video of my process!

I hope I’ve inspired you to grab yourself some plain and boring and rust it up!!

Thanks for stopping by today!!

The time is now

You know how sometimes you are daydreaming and you think of all those things you always wanted to do and never got the chance?

I think we should pay more attention to those day dreams and try harder to make them happen.

My whole life, since I was a small child, I have wished and dreamed for so many things, and these things changed as I grew older, well most of them did. I think sometimes things seem so mysterious and magical then, you get older and wiser, and your mortality is staring you in the face. At these times, those magical things are a little less magical… and maybe even a little bit scary.

Like walking on a tightrope… when I was a child I loved watching the acrobats walk the tightrope… balancing with only their own body as a safety line. With nothing between them and the plummet to the earth, nothing but air.  Then, that was something i wanted to do……. now? No! Heck, I can barely keep my checkbook balanced..lol

Another of those magical things was to skydive, To jump form an airplane of your own free will….. and TO FLY!!! Oh my gosh, how many time did I dream of flying? soaring above the earth and watching all the tiny people from above. Magical! But now that I am older and have responsibilities, I realize that I am not that brave… I couldn’t jump.. I couldn’t take the chance that the parachute doesn’t open. I have too much to live for and the adrenaline rush wouldn’t be worth it. Instead, I will get my rush from doing 60 in a 55 mile per hour zone. lol

But as these dreams have faded into a memory, One has stayed with me, One that is maybe not QUITE as scary. But still ohh so magical. I have always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon. As we settle into our lives and we let all the small things get in the way of our dreams, and that is what this piece is about. Its about rising above all those little things to ride above the earth in that magical balloon. The Time is Now!

Thank you so much for visiting today!

I hope I have inspired you, not only to create a canvas, but also to chase those dreams and do all the things you always wanted to do.

I would love to hear your thoughts!
