Treasure Memories

Hello Art Anthology Friends and Fans! Jenn here today sharing my aged, altered frame.

I have had this photo of my beloved late grandmother just waiting to create a display piece. When I found this frame I knew instantly what I wanted to create! I will display this in my home proudly in her memory.

Supplies:
Art Anthology Colorations Sprays Sky, Sedona, Timeless
Art Anthology Minx Ink Panache
White Gesso
Frame
Glue
Crackle Texture paste
Heat Tool
Florals and other embellishments

I started by applying a very thick layer of gesso all over the frame. Next, I added some crackle effect paste here and there with a palette knife. After the crackle was dry I sprayed the frame with AA Colorations in Sky, dried and followed with AA Colorations Sedona. I added AA Minx in Panache and dried. Several layers of sprays, alternating between the colors and drying created the aged appearance I wanted. In between colors I also drybrushed a bit of white. I splattered white in the end as well.

I then added some chipboard leaves(dyed), die cut leaves,  and florals from Reneabouquets for a feminine look. Some mini art stones were added for texture and a few pearl beads. The sentiment stickers were my final touch!

Shine Brightly – 3D mixed media painting with Daniëlle

Hi guys!

Daniëlle here, as promised, with a new project! I was really excited to use the new products so that’s what I did! I used new Velvets, one of the new stencils and combined this with Art Anthology’s colorations, fairy dust, minx inks, stone effects and clear coats. Hopefully this will inspire you to start creating yourself!

If you want to create such a painting yourself you can follow my Snapguide tutorial if you like:

A little inspiration for you, from Daniëlle

Hi everyone!

Daniëlle here, just popping in, to give you some extra inspiration!

I created these two tags:

In the background I used a combination of colorations sprays (Sandcastle, Siësta Key and Sedona) with Minx shimmering inks (Decadent, Panache) over a layer of Mud and stencils.

To give them a vintage, aged look, I used the texture sets Rust and Patina. I love these sets to add texture and color to elements like the die-cuts on my tags.

All you have to do now is add a beautiful stamp and a text and you’re all done! I hope to inspire you with my project and please show us what you create!

Bye Bye!
