Hello Art Anthology Friends and Fans! Jenn here with you today to share this fun little colorful canvas using lots of Art Anthology products!
Colorations SpraysSedona, Plush
Minx Shimmering Inks Panache
Shine Dimensional Paints Onyx, Teal
Metal Effects Dimensional mediums Silver
Velvet Dimensional Paints Boysenberry
StencilArt Deco

This is a 5 X 7 Canvas. I have coated it with white gesso and allowed it to dry completely before adding any mediums.
The first step was adding some fun texture by applying crackle paste through the AA Art Deco Stencil.

Next, after adhering a frame and molded border,  sprays of AA Colorations in Sedona along with spritzes of water were added. Let dry completely.

Add the remaining embellishments. This includes molded, florals, papers, chippies, etc.

Add splatters of AA Shine in teal mixed with water and let dry or dry with a heat tool. Add more color splattering using the remaining AA mediums listed. Be sure to dry n between.

Fall fever tags with Daniëlle

Hi guys!

Daniëlle here with some fall tags for you. I love fall. I love the colors of nature this time around. Fall always seems to inspire me. For today I created you some cute tags:

I used these art anthology products:

Colorations spray: Timeless, Juicy, Warm

Minx ink: Decadent, Radiance

Stencil: Flower Burst

Stone effects: Brick

These are the steps I took to create my tags:

  1. glue down some collage and add a layer of clear gesso.

2. Add color with colorations spray and add drips using minx inks.

3. Add some washi tapes and add texture by applying stone effects through a stencil.

Close up of the texture:

4. Find yourself some nice scrapbookpaper and cut some pieces. Distress the edges and with a sponge and sme colorations spray ink, add color to the distressed edges.  I did this with two different kinds of paper, for each tag.

5. Put everything together and add embellishments. Choose a composition you like. I don’t think about these things very much. I just have a look and do what I like most.

Your tags are done! Ready to be used as giftlabels for example.

I hope you liked my little tutorial and look forward to see what you create with my techniques.

Remember to just have fun!!!

See you next time!

Stay Strong Art Journal Layout by Jenn DuBell

Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing with you a layout in my art journal using Art Anthology sprays and mediums!

I find art journaling to be one of the most relaxing art forms. Whenever I feel like my “creative mojo” is lost, I just sit down with some paper scraps, sprays, mediums, stamps and stencils along with an art journal and let my mind do the work! This page came from one of these times.

I love the different effects that you can achieve using Art Anthology products. I have used many in this layout.

AA Velvets – Fiji, Cotton, Boysenberry, Dayglow Yellow
AA Shines – Grape, Azalea, Canary
AA Colorations – Patience, Juicy, Siesta Key
AA Stencils – Bits of Grunge, Blocked, Dot matrix
Additional items used:
White and clear Gesso
Clear embossing powder
Black Archival Ink
Stamps
printed napkins

After coating my pages with clear gesso, I added spritzes of Colorations sprays in Patience. I added spritzes of water and allowed it to run a bit as well as using a brush to pick up excess and swipe along edges.

Next, I used my fingers and a brush to smear some AA Velvet in Dayglow Yellow mixed with a small amount of water.

Next I mixed AA velvets in Fiji and Cotton with a bit of white gesso to achieve the aqua color seen. I used the Cotton through a script stencil and the mixed color with the AA Dot Matrix stencil. I used the reverse side of the stencil to use the excess paint by rubbing onto areas of my pages.

Next I added some random stamping and more stenciling. Using a soft gel medium, I applied a torn bit of a napkin (Jane Davenport) for the faces.

Finally I added lots of AA colors to my stamping along with more stenciling for my final result! I added a bit more hair by blending AA mediums in yellows and oranges. They blend very well against the napkin edge!
