Create your own Galaxy project using amazing products from Art Anthology!
This galaxy technique is everywhere these days! It is very cool and can be achieved in so many ways. Today I will show you how I did mine using products from Art Anthology! I have included a Snapguide tutorial below the photos!
Art Anthology products used to create this:
Minx Shimmering Inks in Stargazer, Immaculate, and Majestic
Gemstones Fluorite and Blue Topaz
Sorbet baby Blue Eyes
Chrome from the Silver Oxide Set
Colorations spray in Plush
Small ring-bound sketch pad with black covers
White Acrylic paint
Metal embellishments, key, wings etc. from junk stash
Gritty texture paste (I mixed mini art stones into Art Anthology Mud)
Strong translucent-drying adhesive or medium
Valerie here today to show you a project for an Holiday you maybe are not familiar with, Mardi Gras ! Fat Tuesday is an old Middle Age tradition where peasants disguised themselves, feasted and burned a effigy of the king. It was something tolerate by the church to replace the older pagan custom for Spring. So, I will just stay with the disguise today with an altered mask !
Not far from where I live is the beautiful town of New Orleans, where Mardi Gras is a real deal Holiday ! The official colors for this are green and purple, so I choose the Mardi Gras Velvet and Emerald Dimensional Gemstones mediums for my project.
And don’t forget a touch of gold with the Gold Metal Effect medium !
Can you see the little flakes of gold from the Dazzle ? And the Gold Metal Effect looks like gold powder !
I did a video tutorial for you to see the whole process. You can watch it here or on the Art Anthology YouTube channel :
Thanks you for stopping by today ! I hope you enjoy seeing this project as much as I enjoyed create it ! See you soon for another project…

Hello Art Anthology Friends and Fans! Jenn here today and I am going to share with you how I created my happy journal cover using Art Anthology products.
For starters, this project is the result of two projects that were both lost. By lost I mean not looking the way I had planned. I was cleaning my studio and found these and said maybe rather than trashing them?…and this is what I did!
Please see my Snapguide link below for instructions and full supply list.
Art Anthology Products Used:
Minx Shimmering Inks – Panache, Bankroll
This is where it all began. A journal cover I had started to alter and pieces removed from a small canvas I was unhappy with.
A closer look….
Thanks so much for viewing my post! I hope you were inspired to get creative!
Valerie today to present you a new project… I create a scrapbooking layout using two colorations sprays, some Mud texture paste with stencil and a Gemstone Effect medium…
So why War and Sakura ? Because the subject of the picture is an Onna-Bugeisha, a rare female warrior from the high society of Japan. Despite her armor, she is extremely feminine. Did you notice the flowers in her hair ? That’s inspired me for the sakura flowers in my layout.
When the Mud was dried, I stamped cherry blossom in brown ink before painted them with Rhodolite Gemstone Dimensional medium. To complete the layout, I added cherry blossom cut out from a sheet of paper.
You can watch the complete process of this page on the Art Anthology YouTube channel or just here :
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you did find some inspiration for your next project !
See you soon for more…
Hey there, Michelle here with another project today. After a particularly super busy month, I am looking forward to fall bringing cooler temperatures and that time of year that makes some of us slow down, so although Welcome is seen as just a mere greeting to some, it truly is a “Welcome” sight to some of us in many ways, so I hope you enjoy this cute little plaque display using two of my favorite Art Anthology colors!
Just take in that Art Anthology Gemstones Amber, the warmth it exudes just pulls these colors together
Art Anthology Colorations Sprays Sedona and Timeless were meant to be together, adding the sprays in layers allowed me to control how ‘aged’ I wanted them to look, so have fun with it, play around with them by adding and layering your gesso and sprays, I used flowers from the dollar store for some of them, so try different ones out and see how the sprays change each of them.
I hope you enjoyed this project and give it a try, until next time take care and thank you for joining me!

Hello Fans! Brandy here again to share my Art Anthology Mood Board Challenge project!! Look at the Art Anthology Adventures page on Facebook for all the gorgeous colors and inspiring images each month brings!
I choose to use Lagoon Velvet, Mardi Gras Velvet, and Amber Gemstone Mediums! Boy, they are beautiful together!
One of the things I love most about AA paints is their thick, luscious consistancy! You can add a little water and they take on a whole new effect! Even then, you can still add this mix in layers to get the exact color and dimension.
Art Anthology products are just a click away! Find the products I used today and many more at the Art Anthology Online Store!
Thank you for stopping by toady!!! I hope I’ve inspired you!!!
Hi, Josefine is back with a new art journal page. This time I wanted to test how the Velvet paints react on a black surface. As you might know the Velvet paints are translucent so I was hoping for a fun effect and I was not disappointed.
My tutorial video shows exactly how I added the colors to the black background and what I did to create the ocean scene for the little mermaid.
I hope you enjoyed my art journal page and feel inspired to get your own paints out 🙂
Don’t forget to share your projects in the Art Anthology Facebook group.
