Mixed Media ATC/Galaxy Background by Toni

Hi everyone, Toni here with a fun project to create using your Coloration Sprays. Let’s make a galaxy background. I created these ATC’s  for a Fabulous Fairy Swap that I am in and I thought a galaxy background would be perfect. The Coloration sprays make it so easy to accomplish this kind of background. Using Timeless, Raider, Peacock Feathers, Plush and Indigo provided some beautiful vibrant colors. The inside of the ATC’s were created to be interactive. There is a YOUTUBE video below for your pleasure to watch my creative process. Hope you were inspired by this quick post. Give this technique a try. You can use any combination of colors to create your galaxy. Don’t forget to join in with us on our FACEBOOK page and post your creations.

Mixed Media Card Set by Toni

Hi everyone… Toni here today with a fun project. I love making ATC’s and they are the perfect little pieces of art to place on the front of a card. I decided I wanted to make a set of “All Occasion” cards for a friend of mine so here we go. I created my ATC’s with chipboard and started by adding tissue tape, stamped old book pages and used a pretty stencils from Art Anthology with Sorbet Glass. Then started applying my pretty Colorations in Wild Orchid, Plush, Timeless and Glorious…. gorgeous color combo. Added some more texture using another AA stencil and running black modeling paste through it.

Stamped and cut out the butterflies and using the Colorations I applied them with a water brush to give a watercolor effect. Added some dew drops and upholstery thread for interesting  texture. To bring out the colors in the shadows of the butterflies I then added Sorbets in Vegas Gold, Sunshine and Purple Rain. Then cut a mat for each ATC and adhered to the white card stock. Stamped different sentiments on each card and now we have a pretty gift card set to give. The seam binding was sprayed also with Plush and Wild Orchid. For your enjoyment I have provided a Snapguide tutorial of my process. Be sure to follow us on Facebook HERE and download your beautiful projects for all of us to be inspired by as well.  Also stop by and subscribe to our YOUTUBE channel for process videos from the designers. Wishing you a wonderful day ! xoxo Toni

Rusty ATC’s w/ Brandy

Hi there Art Anthology Fans!! Boy, this month is flying by, isn’t it??
Though my project today is tiny, what it lacks in size, it makes up for in WOW!

I’m so impressed with these new collections! They are just so easy to use.

I like to apply a base coat color and put the other two color mediums mostly on the textured areas. Let them dry between coats…but you can use your heat tool for speed. 🙂

Find this Rust Collection Texture Set ans so many more awesome products in the ART Anthology online store!!

Here is a video of my process!

I hope I’ve inspired you to grab yourself some plain and boring and rust it up!!

Cute ATC Trio w/ Brandy!

Hello Art Anthology Fans! For my second project his month, I thought I’d have a little fun with some ATC’s! The tiny beauties on each card are bits of clipart I bought and cut out. I had so much fun deciding what body to put with each head and legs, etc! Since they are quite busy little beings, I thought I better make a fairly simple background to let them shine!

I love how they turned out, don’t you!?

Black and bright ATCs

Hello !

Valerie again with a new project for you : ATCs ! ATCs are Artist Trading Cards, same format than games cards, 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. You can give or exchange them, like little pieces of art.

How did I create those ? White cardstock and Art Anthology products of course ! OK, I also use stamp and die…

I used Colorations sprays in Glorious, Timeless and Juicy for the background. Then I applied Coral Sorbet with the Lotus stencil

After making another layer with pink ink and the Fragments stencil, the birds were drawn using the Take flight stencil and a black pen. Then I was done with the background…

Next, I cut the globe in white cardstock with a die, and applied Raider Colorations spray over it. I painted white cardstock with Sunshine Sorbet and Glorious Colorations spray before stamped it with sentiment. Once cut, I just glued the sentiment on my ATC, and I was done !

I made a quick video tutorial for you that you can watch here or on the Art Anthology YouTube channel :

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope to see you very soon for another project !

I’m in the mood to get messy today with my Art Anthology products and shaving cream ! It’s an easy way to create master boards for your projects. Every single one is completely different and original.  I used my backgrounds to create some fun ATC’s.

 Start with this…
