Cute ATC Trio w/ Brandy!

Hello Art Anthology Fans! For my second project his month, I thought I’d have a little fun with some ATC’s! The tiny beauties on each card are bits of clipart I bought and cut out. I had so much fun deciding what body to put with each head and legs, etc! Since they are quite busy little beings, I thought I better make a fairly simple background to let them shine!

I love how they turned out, don’t you!?

Thanks for stopping by today! Come visit us on our Facebook Group Page, Adventures in Art!

Here is a Snapguide tutorial, give them a try!!

Black and bright ATCs

Hello !

Valerie again with a new project for you : ATCs ! ATCs are Artist Trading Cards, same format than games cards, 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. You can give or exchange them, like little pieces of art.

How did I create those ? White cardstock and Art Anthology products of course ! OK, I also use stamp and die…

I used Colorations sprays in Glorious, Timeless and Juicy for the background. Then I applied Coral Sorbet with the Lotus stencil

After making another layer with pink ink and the Fragments stencil, the birds were drawn using the Take flight stencil and a black pen. Then I was done with the background…

Next, I cut the globe in white cardstock with a die, and applied Raider Colorations spray over it. I painted white cardstock with Sunshine Sorbet and Glorious Colorations spray before stamped it with sentiment. Once cut, I just glued the sentiment on my ATC, and I was done !

I made a quick video tutorial for you that you can watch here or on the Art Anthology YouTube channel :

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope to see you very soon for another project !

Mini Masterpieces with Toni

Happy month of June everyone , hope you all are staying cool out there because we have been in the triple digits where I live. This month’s mood board is providing some warm colors and wonderful textures… Hope it inspires your next project.

I’m in the mood to get messy today with my Art Anthology products and shaving cream ! It’s an easy way to create master boards for your projects. Every single one is completely different and original.  I used my backgrounds to create some fun ATC’s.

 Start with this…

 Then do this….

 Then do this….

 And you get this !

So here is the completed ATC’s using my pretty marbled backgrounds.

Using AA’s Mud Paste also provided some more wonderful texture run through the Kaleidoscope stencil.

Some embossing and use of mica powders provided some pretty glimmer.

As well as textile scraps and seed beads.

Hope you will give this technique a try. For a complete step x step process take a moment to view my Snapguide tutorial below. Also don’t forget to create along with us using this month’s mood board as inspiration and post it on our Facebook page HERE
