Rusty ATC’s w/ Brandy

Hi there Art Anthology Fans!! Boy, this month is flying by, isn’t it??
Though my project today is tiny, what it lacks in size, it makes up for in WOW!

I’m so impressed with these new collections! They are just so easy to use.

ย I like to apply a base coat color and put the other two color mediums mostly on the textured areas. Let them dry between coats…but you can use your heat tool for speed. ๐Ÿ™‚

Cute ATC Trio w/ Brandy!

Hello Art Anthology Fans! For my second project his month, I thought I’d have a little fun with some ATC’s! The tiny beauties on each card are bits of clipart I bought and cut out. I had so much fun deciding what body to put with each head and legs, etc! Since they are quite busy little beings, I thought I better make a fairly simple background to let them shine!

I love how they turned out, don’t you!?

For awesome texture, this time I used the Fragments and Lotus Stencils and my Art Anthology Mud.
I chose the always gorgeous Sky Colorations spray to start the color for my canvas. I love how this spray gets a little darker with each layer you add…giving you the perfect opportunity to get just what shade you want!

My Desire Velvet Medium added just the right amount of festive color.ย ย To make it all shine, I added a coat of Splashed Clear Coat for some pretty sparkle.

Beautiful Art Canvas w/ Brandy

Hi, Fans!! Brandy here with a quick share of a project!

After being inspired by a friend, I thought I’d try using an old paintbrush as the focal point of an art canvas! I kinda love how this brush was used a time or two by myself, then returned to a beautiful piece of art afterward! Just some twine, a coat of gesso, some crackle paste and some of my SKY Colorations spray. ๐Ÿ™‚

Of course, the paintbrush wouldn’t look as good as it does without a gorgeous background made up of a few more Art Anthology goodness! I started by adding texture with some Mud and my Lotus and Blocked stencils. Next, I adorned them with Colorations Sprays in Sky, Warm, and Steel.

The metal butterfly helped me choose a few rust colored accents for adorning.

In, the end I found a spectacular title sticker that suited this old brush perfectly.
“She was herself again”.
