Bee Happy door hanger

Hello my dear crafty friends!

Irit is here with my new Mixed Media tutorial and this time we are going to make a Happy door hanger or as you can see it is ” Bee Happy” one.

As you can see I made it in bee’s yellow and just black and white and used tons of Art Anthology products.

The main images and the sentiment were stamped and heat embossed. My tip for you: if you wish to use mists over stamped images first heat emboss them! So easy and keeps the images untouched even with the heavy spraying.

So here are some close- ups for you to see and then there is a full step by step Snapguide tutorial as always.

Here is our Snapguide tutorial:

Smile : Mixed Media canvas

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first July tutorial made with Art Anthology products.
Irit is here again and this time I made a small, card sized, altered Mixed Media canvas in a dark , but yet shabby style.
The background was made with Art Anthology stencils and dimensional paints and also it was made over black gesso you can see the shiny purple paint seen over the canvas.

The flowers cluster was misted with black Colorations spray and then painted with a few other AA paints.
The die cut cardstock pieces were also painted to fit the colors of the project.
Two other pieces added here are the clay mold fairy and a chipboard title ; both were painted to get the colors desired for the finished project.

As always you can see the full Snapguide  step by step tutorial HERE:

And here is a list of Art Anthology products used to make this small piece of art:

Recycled ” Dream” wall decoration

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second April Art Anthology post.

This time I decided to show you how you can use your old and messy paint brushes and to make a lovely wall decoration using them with Art Anthology paints and a stencil.

As you can see the project base is made of 21 old paint brushes. My problem is that I never clean my brushes in a proper way. I do clean them here and there, but finally they are done and gone and the only thing you can make with them is an altered project.

Lucky me, I never buy the expensive brushes and those are all kind of a general $ store ones.

So then life gives you messy ” lemons” make a nice lemonade and in my case make a nice altered project.

Here you can see some close- ups to this project:

Blooming altered box

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Art Anthology post.

Spring is in the air and the best way to celebrate Spring is to make a bright and full of flowers project.

So this altered wooden box is my tribute to Spring and to everything new. Why is it everything new? As this is my very first time to make self made painted flowers and the very first time to use Foamiran to make those flowers.

I heard about this product that is actually the very thin foam. You can die cut it, paint it and then shrink it a bit with your heat gun to get those great, pretty much like real, flowers.

So for my very first attempt to use this foam I used Art Anthology paints and colorations to see if it works. And it worked just perfect.

Here are some close – ups to the flowers and then I made a tutorial to show you how you can make  the flowers and to embellish your $ store simple wooden box with these flowers.

You can see the full step by step tutorial here on a Snapguide:

Time flies when you are clowning around

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here with my first March inspiration.

This time I made a square 6*6” chipboard altered board using lots of Art Anthology stencils, paints  and sprays.

This chipboard was first covered with gesso. Then I added texture paste with our fantastic Art Anthology …… stencil.

Here are some close ups for you to see:

The whole composition was born when I decided to add a stamped clown image over the board and to use the stamped ” Clowning around” sentiment.

This was my first time to mix Sorbet paint with 3d art stones and it worked in the best possible artistic way over the board.

As always I made a full Snapguide tutorial that you can see HERE:

And a full list of supplies  is added here for you:

Hope you liked my art piece. See you again in  two weeks with another Art Anthology inspiration.
